I have become more and more fascinated with 19th century tech. An individual could still understand the materials they were using. One person could, if need be, grind lenses, put together a camera from wood and bits of metal, pour plates and make a final print. Simple, meditative, slower, seeing in a totally different way. But, curiosity still tempts me to try other methods of expression.
